Holi – The Bright, Bold & Boisterous play of Indians is famous worldwide today. Everybody wants to join this bash of colors at least once in a life time. This Holi festival only boost the image of India as a rich tradition and multi colored country.

So from where does this Holi bash started from or what it means to someone who is unknown to it, what is the story behind it?

It is said to have its origins in a tale from Hindu mythology, in which there was a demon king Hiranyakashyapu who was granted boon by Brahma, the Hindu god of creation, to become immortal as he pleased him with his ‘Tapasya’ hermitism or asceticism and proved to be a devoted servant. As the Hiranyakashyapu got the boon of immortality it all gone not well with him and he got arrogant. He started causing lot of trouble to people; he just wanted everybody in his kingdom to worship him only. But to his great disappointment, his son Prahlada was not
amused and he started opposing his father and became an ardent devotee of Lord Narayana which only annoyed Hiranyakashyapu further. Continue Reading

When we talk about Cricket, it won’t be a new thing to call it a religion in India. Whilst there is a scenario, pertaining to reservation based on religion or Caste, it’s the religion of Cricket which unites us all no matter what. Every heart that belongs to India, beats for India wishes to see Team India repeat the history of T20 Cricket WC-2007. Today, it is the day when this streak will commence, as Team India would take on Black Caps in their first match of T20 Cricket World Cup-2016.

In India, youngsters are especially fond of Cricket. There is no other league which is as crazy or as passionate as youngsters are for this game of Cricket. However, This World Cup would be a bit awkward for most of the students this time as at one end this mega event is having its kick-off, on the other, the dilemma is, exams are inching. Some people say leaders are born and other says that they are trained and created. What would be your response to a situation when you are the in charge and responsible for the outcomes of the acts you do completing any given task? It makes complete sense when you say I’ll work as a manager or as a leader.

So what is the basic difference when you say a manager or a leader? People in general from corporate and society thinks and says that manager’s first responsibility is to manage the things whether leader has that one unique trait of incorporating him or herself to accomplish a task and he or she would not be hesitant to go that extra mile to perform his/her duties, neither leader would try to avert risks while taking decisions or actions.
